Stop 59 - Denver

Our last postcard was sent to Denver, in the USA, 7553 kilometers away!

The postcard was sent to Melissa. It was sent by Noriko, an Advanced 2 student who wrote on a postcard featuring a painting by Alfonso Costa, a local Noia painter, with the title "Voz da Pedra" ('The voice of the stone'). It features two stylized arches and a medieval column.

Stop 58 - Prague

Our last postcard was sent to Prague, in the Czech Republic, 1969 kilometers away!

The postcard was sent to Libor. It was sent by Paco, an Advanced 2 student who wrote on a postcard featuring one of the medieval tombs inside the church of Santa María a Nova: probably the grave of a rich merchant who might have done business with -among other places - Prague in the remote past!

Stop 57 - Detmold

Last year, our student Paula's daughter, Laura, inspired by what we were doing, also decided to join the postcrossing website and send a postcard!

She wrote to Detmold, in Germany, 2210 kilometers away!

Her postcard had a picture of Pontenafonso, the famous medieval bridge that joins the two sides of the Tambre river, and the two townships of Noia and Outes.
