This postcard was sent to us from Russia. It was sent by Anatolyi, who lives in Saint Petersburg, 3248 kilometers away!

On the card we can see what appears to be a children's cartoon scene, perhaps from some TV show from Soviet times. On the back we get its name: "The Kid and Karlsson".

On the card we can see a beautiful view of mount Ilarène, in the province of Tamanrasset, famous for its oasis-city. 

On the back, Abed sends us some sweet words in a slightly cursive handwriting that reminds me of Arab writing, along with stamps with lovely roses.

On the card we can enjoy a lovely, mist-bedecked view of the Charles Bridge, one of the main landmarks of Prague.

On the back, our Czech friend tells us that she studied in the capital, that being the reason why she chose this picture, and that she was curious about what 'Galician' meant (she saw it in our postcrossing profile, I presume). I obliged with a message and some words of our language.

On the card we can see a colourful and artistic message; when we tried to translate it in the class (through google translate), it seems to mean something like 'I always eat fruit'.

This postcard was sent to us from Germany. It was sent by Eric, who lives in Freiberg, 1906 kilometers away!

On the card we can see some miscellaneous sights of Eric's hometown, which has a lot of quaint, ancient-looking buildings in a very Germanic style. Freiberg was an important silver-mining site in the old state of Saxony.

In the back, Eric sends greetings and some lovely stamps. Like in many cards from Germany, flowers appear a lot in these, but one big one here includes part of the lyrics of the German national anthem.
