Stop 78 - Sastamala

Our last postcard was sent to Sastamala, in Finland, 2943 kilometers away!

The postcard was sent to Seija. It was sent by José Manuel, an Advanced 2 student who wrote on a postcard featuring an indoors view of the beautiful church of Santa María a Nova, which doubles now as a museum for the engraved medieval tombstones that are so characteristic of Noia.

On the back, José Manuel tells our Finnish friend about his own hometown, Serra de Outes -incidentally, it is my own as well-, as well as inviting her to come on holidays to enjoy our fabulous landscape.
